Bean Masters Coffee Shop sources its beans exclusively from women farmers who make up a collective of about 200 farmers – the largest of its kind in the country, which also assists its members with harvesting. The collective produced about 10 tons of coffee in 2022. Part of the proceeds are used to finance development projects in the villages where the women grow coffee.
Today, Bean Masters coffee is sold mainly in large quantities to upscale restaurants and hotels. However, in order to serve all types of consumers, they are looking to expand production of retail-sized bags in the near future.
